Lost Property

Lost property on the University is often lost permanently, as the University has no single lost property office. Instead, each faculty and building has its own system for dealing with forgotten items. In some, the porters take charge of lost property, and hand it over to the various divisions of the Technical department; in others, cleaning staff operate with boxes for forgotten items. Overall, lost property is rarely reclaimed by its owner.
