University Management Reported to Police
A student of law has reported the University management to the police, alleging that he has been slandered, his books locked up surreptitiously in an attempt at impeding his use of the University Library, and that he has been assaulted – kicked – by library staff. What started as a dispute over a bottle of water has resulted in what the student claims is a persecution campaign. After being reported to the police in March 2001 for harrassing library staff, he is now being denied the licence to practice as a solicitor, and has subsequently reported the University management to the police. The student has obtained the help of several representatives of the Student Parliament, which is also the University\'s point of contact against discrimination, and has been offered legal aid.
