ASU leader speaking at anti-racism demo

Leader of the African Student Union (ASU), Nosizwe Baqwa, was among the people making appeals at last Saturday’s demonstration against racism and public discrimination at Youngstorget. Among other things, the demonstration was held as a response to the death of Eugene Obiara, who died under arrest in Trondheim, and the story of Ali Haji Farah who was denied transport by ambulance personnel in Oslo despite being severely injured. Among the other speakers were Abid Q. Raja, Erling Folkvord (RV) and Kristin Halvorsen (SV).
