Sosialdemokratene retain their 13 seats in total. The socialist Venstrealliansen and the centre right Moderat gruppe also retained their 11 seats each, while the election’s loser was the apolitical group «Fakultetslistene», who dropped from a total of 16 seats last year to a new total of 11. Political newcomers Grøn liste («Green list») a spinoff of the agrarian Centre Party, gained two seats, while the Medicine student «separatist» list Morbus Medicus demolished all opposition at the Faculty of Medicine elections, gaining three of the total of four seats in that particular constituency.

In related notes, national leader of the International Student’s Union Eton Williams gained a parliament seat representing Fakultetslistene from the Faculty of Maths and Sciences. At the moment of writing, local University of Oslo ISU leader Ricardo Duque possibly stood poised to get elected as well, representing Moderat gruppe.
