Keeping Christmas?
Due to the impending reform in the higher education sector, the academic year may in future be divided into two equally long terms, with the result that exams will take place in January. The University has not yet made up its mind whether this will mean an end to Christmas holidays. Meanwhile, the student body is in favour of keeping the Christmas break: the Student Parliament has taken a clear stand in favour of Christmas, and more than one thousand students have signed an Internet petition for the Christmas break.
