Nazi-sympathies Seek Academic Legitimacy

Publisert

The former SS soldier and convicted traitor Arne Borgir is acting as sales agent for the book Holocaust. Myte eller virkelighet? (The holocaust. Myth or reality?). The book does not acknowledge that the holocaust took place, and is the first of its kind published in Norwegian.

Editor of the anti-fascist magazine Monitor Tor Bach points out that the holocaust is among the best-documented events in history. Sales agent Arne Borgir claims that the issue should be of interest to Norwegian academics, as discussing the existence of the holocaust has formerly been taboo. The authors of the articles in the book – many of whom deny that the holocaust took place – are anonymous, and the book is published by the non-existent publishing house Advance Forlag. Borgir, who did not initially wish to be connected to the book, refuses to reveal who has authored the book. Despite his history as an active member of the Waffen-SS – during which period he was awarded the iron cross in recognition of his services to Germany -, and his former anti-immigration politics, he denies having any nazi sympathies.
