No emergencies

– We received about ten to fifteen more phone calls during the water crisis than what is normal, says Marit Eskeland, Medical Superintendent at the Student Health Services. There were never any problems with the capacity due to the poor water quality, but Eskeland admits that should an epidemic break out, the Student Health Services would have very little reserves to turn to. If such a thing were to happen, the emergency ward would have to take over. However, the Student Health Services never expected this situation to become serious. – The amount of infectious bacteria found in the water was never especially large. Thus, we did not think that many people would become ill.
